The golden voice of Java Ika Pramastuti, Born in Central Java Indonesia in the city of Solo in 1982. Ika first artistic encounter was through her hands as she was already able to draw with a pencil very well at the early age of 11 years old. Shortly after her drawing talents were realized it was not the end of the gifts this multi talented artist possesed. It was in Germany that she was singing and Marcus heard her amazing voice as she was so shy to sing infront of anyone. “She has the most soulful voice I have heard in the country of Indonesia, what makes Ika's voice such a gift is that she can sing R&B music like home, that is the very roots of my culture” Says Marcus., How did she achieve this is still beyond words as she never grew up listening to any black music!

Ika started her first recording session while her stay in Germany and after her CD was done she uploaded her CD to the internet where to her surprise she reached the top of the mp3 music charts and that garnered her a recording deal with Universal Music Indonesia. Soon after Ika found herself back on her home Island of Java recording the music video and performing on TV. Her Video was voted in MTV top ten video's Asia. But it was not soon that her voice was too soulful for the Indonesian pop market and that she soon discovered that her real market was in the United States, Europe and Japan. She decided to leave the label so that she can work on her English and develop her style more so she can access the overseas market.

After moving to Bali and signing on with MYWPMUSIC records Ika has started to record R&B music exclusively. Ika is truly a rare diamond and she is blessed with multiple talents.
